Sad Again
Whoa, I'm sad again.
When I'm this sad it's time to say things like:
"This is temporary."
"This will lift from my shoulders."
"Food will taste good again."
"A smile will not always feel forced."
"The pain and weight in your neck, shoulders, arms, hands, and legs will go away."
"You will enjoy your interests again."
"It's okay to keep smiling and responding to your daughter even if you don't feel it inside right now."
"You know what this is," I say to myself. "You know you will make it out."
Fingers crossed that it lets up as the day goes by and the medicine kicks in, but man I'm tired. I'm grateful for my husband, my daughter, and my life. I'm grateful for access to medication. I'm so sad, but still grateful.

it's okay,
jj
